A really enjoyable concert.
The West Oxfordshire Winds, West Oxfordshire Clarinets and Freeland Orchestra, all conducted by Wendy Marks, gave a well rehearsed and most enjoyable concert in Eynsham Church on 27th June, with a large and appreciative audience.
I really enjoyed WOC’s spirited, gutsy playing, with the added depth provided by the bass clarinets. I felt they had improved immensely since I last heard them, and the phrasing in Sunrise, Sunset was particularly effective.
A really enjoyable concert.
